Autobot freedom fighter, Elita-One, led a rag-tag group of
female Transformers on Cybertron. This struggle lasted for
eons. Elita-One and her group survived to see the end of the
Great War. Years later, Elita-One and her group were
reassembled to face a new Decepticon threat.
Elita-One was entrusted with the powerful and mysterious orb known as the Matrix of the Luminary. This matrix transformed Elita-One into Prima Elite!
The transformation gave her a new powerful body and vehicle form. She transforms into a sleek two-seater convertable race car. Of course, the car comes loaded with guns.
Additionally, she was armed with a battle trailer that could deploy an
immense amount of weaponry on the battlefield.
The trailer can link up to her in vehicle mode.
The deployed trailer detaches from her.
Most weapons point forward but have limited turning arcs.
The main turret on top can elevate and rotate freely. The deployed trailer
is barely capable of movement and is ususally limited to slight turns from
side to side.
Finally, the trailer can combine with Prima Elite similar to the
Power Master Optimus Prime configuration. But she can combine without a
Power Master. Her combined form is called
Power Prima Elite.
She can still hold the
Matrix of the Luminary
because the handles on the Matrix can move outwards forming larger
handles for Power Prima Elite to hold on to.
Artists Commentary:Special thanks to "J-Law" for inspiring me to draw Prima Elite. It was only logical that I provide this capstone to the G1 Autobot females.I started out by sketching Elita-One from some screen captures I found from several internet sources. I sketched the original then beside that, I sketched my "take" no what her upgraded form would look like. The tough part was figuring out her original vehicle mode! I had only one "screencap" that showed just the nose of her alternate form. So really my sketch of her car form was mostly guessing! You can see my sketches of her car mode as I developed Prima Elite's vehicle. With having her own Matrix, she would be given a trailer and a "Prime" designation. But in typical Markatronic flare, Power Prima Elite would be a "next stage" transformation. I just can't have her trailer dragging behind her all the time. The sketches of the trailer were pretty much the final product so I didn't bother to scan them in. However, I needed to establish major elements on Power Prima Elite so I sketched her several times before deciding to do a final piece. Rough first sketch of Power Prima Elite - posing. Looks like some kid drew this. Hey, I'm still a kid. A "Toys 'R Us Kid"! Har. :) A more defined sketch of her just standing. Much more respectable work. You've already seen her Matrix. I could have had a Matrix similar to the Matrix in the TF Movie but, I wanted to spruce it up by mounting two golden tiaras studded with jewels. Also, the handles allow for a small and large Prima Elite to grasp it.
