Her specialty is sneaking undetected behind enemy defenses. Her metallic armor has a thin coating over it. This coating has veins running through it. She can inject the veins with a brown liquid to prevent light from glinting off her metal.

She can lie motionless for hours with passive sensors on gathering intelligence just outside enemy fortifications.

Autobots and Maximals appreciate her careful approach to life. Even in her speech. Katrina is not first to speak but listens before giving input. When she does speak, it is with well-chosen words.

Her beast form is a powerful lion. Since Katrina is an early Maximal, her beast form is still recognizeably robotic. But the tail and hair look very genuine. Layers of gold-plated chevrons can collect energy as she basks in the sun.

While she can consume meat, she prefers energon. She's more interested in snacking on some Predacon rather than the locals on earth.

She can fire solar rays from her lion eyes. Lion mouth can rip through metal as well as flesh; also, can emit a deafening roar that disrupts balance gyros inside any Transformer nearby.

Operates best alone. Can fight in teams and units but scouts in solitude.

Her spark was moved from her midrift to inside the lion mouth. Notice that the symbol on her spark is more that of the Beast Machine sigil. I'll figure out a good backstory but the sigil just looked good so I stuck with it. Story-wise, for me, female Maximals will probably keep this sigil through both the BW and BM time-lines.

She didn't change much from the initial sketch.

I designed her mainly for the hair. I knowingly used a male lion because I could use the beautiful mane to give Katrina a very human-esque hairdo. I suppose she would be a brunette (on the lighter side but not a dark blonde).

I was going to have her be a red head. If so, perhaps she was an ancestor of BM Snarl! But I wanted to stick with a mane color more consistent with typical earth lions.
