Angelique provides armor for Power Prima Elite to form the
wonderous and powerful Transformer known as
Elita Ascendant!
This mysterious new stage of transformation is a combination of two already powerful sparks. Elita Ascendant is capable of at least two special attacks. Her "Missile Storm" attack is a torrent of glowing missiles. Her "Silver Lining" attack are rays of lethal light from her many cannons. But these attacks take a toll on her energy reserves.
She can travel at light speed and is capable of short quick jumps where she appears as a blur of pink light. Wings can deflect all but the most intense energy blasts. "Halo force field" gives her added protection. She can ram battleships with this field in place. While her attacks and shield drain her power reserves, it seems that sustained light travel does not significantly drain her power. There is an initial power drain when ramping up to light speed but once at light velocity, Elita Ascendant can maintain it with no noticeable power drain. Therefore, she has no known range limit in her light speed travel.
She is unbeatable in battle. Guardian-level and Gestalt-level Transformers fall easily to her attack.
It is prophecied that the power of Prima Elite's Matrix actually behaves differently when in "Ascendant" mode.
Elita Ascendant is controlled wholly by Prima Elite's will.
Angelique's personality is still active but she only provides consulting
and direction. She does not assert control over Elita Ascendant.
Artists Commentary:I was quite suprised and elated at the initial sketch of what a combined form would look like. Of course, I borrowed heavily from Gundam Wing Zero Custom. And she has three pairs of wings like the Biblical Seraphim.This is a sketch of the vehicle convoy after Angelique (as missile truck) hooks up with Prima Elite (with trailer). Yup, just like Ginrai's convoy. Nothing too profound here. :) Of course, the vehicles are not as blocky as Ginrai but follow the gently sloping angles of Rodimus Prime and his trailer. The formation of Elita Ascendant is mainly a splitting up Angelique into armor components and fitting them all over Power Prima Elite. There are places that fold and bend but mostly, they just place over PPE. An enduring feature with all three modules is the curved "spoiler-ring" near the rear of the vehicles. In robot modes, they usually end up as the collar armor around the neck. In Ascendant mode, the ring rises behind her head. This is reminiscent of the ribbon used by one "Anime Angel". The angel-like creatures in Escaflowne use these ribbons to some degree but the main angel I am borrowing from is Digimon's "Angewomon" (a very strange name indeed). She had a pink ribbon that also made this "halo" effect. Of course, my robotic version of this is the ring-like spoiler. This feature links all of the Elita Ascendant components together. And, well... I think it's cute. This was definitely a fun project! But yes, it did take a lot of planning. Lots of sketches went into producing this but I think it was well worth it. It's going to take quite a bit to top all the transformation stages involved with the Elita project. I'm going to ease back into single characters with one alt mode for a while. For now, I present to you Elita Ascendant!
