I'm trying to refine her look and "hairdo". I really like her face in this picture. Almost like a heart. I like the small mouth. She's playing with a mechanical insect that appears to be a cross between a butterfly and a dragonfly. Another simple body sketch just to experiment with the legs.

18-Sep-00 Introducing Dee-kal's friend, Cyclikal!
I've got some pictures of bikes. I'll probably have a classic street bike but I'd like to fashion her into a sleek bullet bike.

FORM:

I was just sketching a cool design for a female transformer. I started with her hairdo first. Then I threw in the long, circular (cyclical?) shoulder frills. Then it hit me. Those could be wheel guards! Voila, a bike transformer.
And what better faction to join for a biker-girl?
And who better friend to have for a Junkion?

DUH!
I tried to integrate the wheels into her shoulder armor but I really liked how the bike hood came up to form her chestplate. I didn't want to obscure that by putting wheels under each arm pit. Besides, the wheels would restrict the range of motion at her shoulders.

NAME:

I was jotting down "bike words" in an effort to name her. But this one actually came quite quickly. Especially realizing that I could use the "kal" from Dee-kal's name to make an adjective out of any noun.
