Markatron's character development commentary: Subject: Armor Fire Star (Fire Star + Assault Phoenix) Armor Fire Star is my favorite because she embodies the themes around the my Markatronic "new style" of Transformer. The lean body with layered armor, the frills of armor (especially the layers of frills on her chest), and the decorated lance all reflect my ideals of elegance and complexity. I was already very pleased with my redesign of Fire Star. Adding the phoenix as armor was even more fun! The choice of the phoenix partner was obvious because of her own theme of fire. The Assualt Phoenix head splits from the beak (which rests over her chest) and the main head (that adds frill to her helmet). Feather frills on each side of the phoenix head rests on her "clavical" area on both sides of her neck. Her shoulder armor swings down allowing the phoenix shoulders to become the new primary shoulder armor. The layering affect of shoulder armor is similar to that of some Gundam robots like Katoki's "Superior Gundam". Her Axe was part of the phoenix tail and her lance comes from the phoenix underbelly armor. The tail feathers almost became her skirt but that would be too similar to that I did with Armor Chromia. The tail feathers decorate her armor skirt from the back. The phoenix's legs (with missile pods) become her knee-guards and greaves. The phoenix shoulders (tips of her shoulder armor) also house missile clusters.
