Prima Elite's "guardian angel". Angelique is a unique
Transformer sent by the Oracle to guard the bearer of the
Matrix of the Luminary.
She transforms from Missile Truck to Robot mode.
Angelique carries four missile pods and two long range plasma cannons. She can also project gravitational beams and lightning strikes thru her hands. Her wings allow her to hover and she is capable of flight with her backpack.
Not much else is known about Angelique. Her specific origins are unknown.
When asked, she replies that she is a messenger from the Oracle.
But she is a powerful and loyal friend.
She doesn't speak much and she tends to express herself in parable-like stories
or references. But when she does speak, she speaks with the authority of
the Oracle and often clarifies the intent of the Oracle.
Artists Commentary:Yes, I could have created an "ArmorMaster Animal" for Prima Elite but I decided a humanoid partner would be fun. And since it was nearing Easter, I decided to give this partner an angelic theme.The original sketch of Angelique looked nothing like she is here. I gave her a kind of "armored skirt" that would become thigh armor. Her winged boots would be boots for Prima Elite. Beyond her robot mode and "armor mode" I wanted something extra. I decided to keep with the Power Master Optimus Prime trend. See, in Japan's toy line, Power Master Optimus Prime (Super Ginrai) could combine with a second trailer called God Bomber to become Super God Ginrai (err, something like that). The Japanese weren't implying they would bomb God but God is a prefix like "super" or "ultra". (But notice that spiritual reference.) Anyway, that's the thinking behind giving Angelique a trailer mode. Her missile truck form stayed pretty much the same as the original sketch. The trailer was packed with extra weaponry namely four missile pods. Yes, Angelique has lots of backpack garbage.
